So its that time of the month again where I decide to plan what I’m going to read next month and then I will completely disregard this list and not bother with anything. Which I refuse to let happen in August! I have decided to keep the list much shorter, with just three books as I will be going back to work in August which means less time for reading.  

I have not included any kindle books in this list as I currently have kindle unlimited, so I do not know what books I will be choosing from there in August. 

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

This book has been on my to be read for so long and I do think it’s about time I get around to reading it. I am going to make it my mission to read Eliza and Her Monsters next month as I really enjoyed the few chapters that I started so long ago and I really liked the illustrated elements of the book.

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas

Yes that right, Heir of Fire was included in my to be read for July and guess what, I didn’t read it. Shocking I know. For that reason, I am carrying it over into my August to be read. It’s not that I didn’t want to read it, I found that I didn’t want to read anything this month. 

I read the first two books in this series back to back and within a week, so I’m pretty excited to read Heir of Fire. However, as I do not want to exhaust the series too quickly I may make this the only Throne of Glass book I read next month.

The Cruel Prince (Folk of The Air #1) by Holly Black

I am very excited to read this book. I have only read Tithe by Holly Black which was when I was about 14 and I remember enjoying that. Naturally, I got the book because it’s about the fae and I think its quite obvious by now that they’re one of my favourite types of books. I’ve also seen the first chapter already and thought it was pretty funny and relatable. 

I have already purchased The Wicked King so I’m really hoping to like The Cruel Prince. I just can’t help myself when it comes to beautiful covers, someone should stop me.
