Music Review: Without You by Fairway

Without You is the latest release from alt-rock four-piece Fairway. The band is made up of Marty Jackson on lead vocals and guitar, Kiel Church on vocals and bass, Jack Cunniffe on guitar, and Joe Parsons on drums.

The band are no strangers to the industry and have a combined 25+ years of songwriting and touring experience. They have supported big names such as You Me At Six and James Bourne and have played at many well-established venues.

The band has plans for future releases with two further singles, 3AM Friend & The Deep End, dropping in early 2021.

Without You was produced at Stakeout Studios and is the second release for the quartet. The track tells the story of someone that has decided they deserve better.

From the get-go Without You is a spirited track. Pop-punk styled guitars open the track with a peppy riff. These are giving me major Neck Deep vibes, which as they are my favorite band, I am loving.

Frontman Marty has a wonderfully smooth vocal which you easily find yourself lost in. The gentle nature of the verses paves the way for a lively chorus. The backing vocals in this section add interesting layers to the track.

Without You is a great second release from Fairway. Keep your eyes peeled for more releases from this band.
