Music Review: Bang Bang by FRAMATICS

Bang Bang is the latest release from London based band FRAMATICS. Made up of Madeleine Todd on vocals, Zachariah Stone on guitar, Liam Banga on bass and Adam Strain on drums, the band formed in the UK’s capital back in 2018.

On the 23rd of April 2019, the band released their debut single I Think You’re Funny, receiving online coverage through blogs and playlists. Following up the single with extensive gigging in the London scene, FRAMATICS played at great venues such as The Old Blue Last, Camden Assembly and Notting Hill Arts Club.

Bang Bang describes an ultimatum that is delivered at the end of a relationship. The lyrics tell its recipient that if you can’t love me you should leave me. The track is so upbeat that you honestly would not know about this feeling unless you listened to the lyrics very closely, this a good thing.

The opening section has a great build-up that instantly grabs your attention. Left wondering at what point the track is going to really kick in you find your interesting growing with the rising volume.

The chorus has such a wonderful feel-good vibe to it and it is definitely one that you are going to remember. Madeleines vocals are completely gripping and you find yourself enthralled with the melody and lyrics.

Bang Bang comes to a close all too quickly and straightaway I want to listen to it again. FRAMATICS are definitely ones to watch in 2021.
