What I Watched: July 2021

I watched some really great things in July, including a surprising amount of films. Now, this post is definitely not my best as I am writing this on the day it was posted and it is the day after getting my second dose of the vaccine. Basically, I’m super tired and I’m finding it difficult to string together sentences. However, I haven’t posted in a while and I hate leaving it too long between posts. So apologies for what is potentially an awful post.

Films

I usually sound like a broken record when it comes to the film section of these posts, however, last month I actually watched three films. One of which being one of my favourite films of all time, Stardust. Now if you’ve never seen Stardust, what are you doing? It is such an amazing film that holds a lot of nostalgia for me.

Stardust was a film I first watched when I was pretty young and ever since the first time I saw it, I absolutely loved it. It is definitely one of my most watched films of all time.

I also watched Mamma Mia which is a firm favourite as it is just so feel-good and honestly who doesn’t love Abba?

The last film that I watched was Guns Akimbo. This was my boyfriend’s choice and it was awful. It tried way too hard to be funny to the point where I found myself physically cringing at the ‘jokes’. Honestly, I would not recommend it.

I do not own the rights to these logos, however, everything on this image was drawn by me
TV Shows

During July both myself and my boyfriend started watching The Man In The High Castle. We’ve gotten to around halfway through season two, but haven’t watched it in a few weeks. It is a really good show and we will probably finish it at some point.

I’ve wanted to watch Little Witch Academia for a while now and finally started it in July. Now I haven’t got through many episodes as I don’t have a lot of time to watch TV, but it seems really fun and I love anything witchy.

Never Have I Ever season two is my favourite pick of the month. I absolutely love that show. It’s super funny and I’m way too emotionally invested at this point but honestly, I don’t even care.

Youtube/Twitch

As always I have been loving the Call of Duty League and my OpTic boys have been playing so well recently. Obviously, I love them no matter what but during stage five and its major they played exceptionally well and I am super excited to watch champs next week.

Sorry this post is super short, I will be back with an arc review in a few days!
