What I Watched: November 2021

I didn’t do much tv watching during November, I’d say my tv habits were about average for the month. Compared to last month I haven’t really watched much, but with no seasonal films to watch I had no interest.

Films

During a trip back home to see my family we all sat down and watched Red Notice. This is a recent Netflix release and it really wasn’t that great. If it wasn’t for Ryan Reynolds the film would have been a bust.

I did watch my first Christmas film of the year; The Knight Before Christmas. This was after the 25th so it’s acceptable right?

The Knight Before Christmas isn’t the best film ever, but it’s a quick and easy watch. I’ve always loved Vanessa Hudgens so I’ll happily watch anything she’s in.

The final film I watched was Pitch Perfect. As a singer, I love this film. I know it’s pretty terrible but it reminds me of secondary school when my friends and I would watch and sing along to it most weekends. Also, I just put it on as a bit of easy watching in the background whilst I wrote blog posts.

TV Shows

Finally, I can say I’ve finished The Umbrella Academy and all I have to say is what the hell. That ending was wild and I had absolutely no idea what was happening. But I loved it.

Now I’m super excited for season three, has it been announced yet? I don’t know, but what I do know is that the wait is too long no matter when it is out.

Annoyingly I kind of forgot about Only Murders in the Building and even though I did watch more of it last month, I still haven’t finished it. I think I have about two episodes left so I will definitely finish it this month. Thankfully I haven’t seen any spoilers.

Superstore is a regular feature on these posts now and although I did watch quite a few episodes last month I wasn’t quite binging it like before so I also haven’t finished it yet.

There really is a common theme with the TV show part of these posts – I never finish things in an appropriate amount of time. I suppose that isn’t a bad thing because I’m not binging my life away, but it does get a little frustrating when I think about how long it takes me to watch just one season of a show.

One thing I will be binging this month is The Witcher. I am unbelievably excited about it. My boyfriend and I rewatched the first season a while back, and he doesn’t really like to rewatch shows so that speaks volumes for how much we love it. I will of course be mentioning it in next months post so make sure you check back to see my thoughts on season two.

Youtube

Pokemon. That’s it really. The new Pokemon game came out and I’ve been watching videos/playthroughs of it.

My habits with Youtube rarely change and I feel like I didn’t really watch as much in November. I will however have a lot to say about Youtube for my December wrap-up as vlogmas is just beginning and it really is the most wonderful time of the year. I look forward to vlogmas every year and hopefully, this year will be just as great.
