Audiobook Review: One of Those Flings by Lauren Blakely

Synopsis:

Review:

One of Those Flings was a fun audio experience that took no time at all to get through. This was both a positive and a negative. I liked that it was a fast read I could use to bump up my yearly reading challenge. However, it didn’t give you time to actually get to know the characters.

I listened to the entire ‘book’ in one sitting and I can’t recall any characters’ names. Bear in mind I was doing a food shop at the same time though so it’s partly my fault. But they shouldn’t be that forgettable surely?

I wanted a read with summer vibes and this definitely provided them. The parts with surfing and snorkeling were enjoyable and the holiday resort seemed like a really fun place to be.

From what I remember the actors and characters had good chemistry and I did like that you got a glimpse into their future even though this was super short.

If you have Audible plus and are looking for a quick fun read then you should definitely check out One of Those Flings. It only took me an hour (on 1.4x speed) to get through the entire book.
