There’s been a ton of great shows released or coming back with a new season lately and I’ve been having an excellent time watching them. I haven’t been excited to watch TV in quite some time, but that really changed this month. So much so that I’ve got lots of plans for what to watch in July.

Stranger Things – Netflix
Just like everyone else in the world I will be watching Stranger Things in July. I wasn’t super excited for the fourth season, but that soon passed once I started watching. The first half of the season was really good, I figured out who Vecna was so I’m basically a genius.
I have a horrible feeling that someone is going to die, but as long as it isn’t Max, Steve or Robin I’m not too fussed. Sorry if that doesn’t include your favourite character. Obviously, I’d be upset if any of the main characters die, but those three are my absolute favourites.
Synopsis: When a little boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one strange little girl.
Attack on Titan – Funimation
I keep telling myself every month that I will finally finish Attack on Titan, but I keep putting it off. As I’ve said before it’s my favourite anime of all time and because of this I don’t want it to end. I know the final episodes aren’t out yet, but my brain is convinced it’s all over.
I think the main reason why I keep putting this off is because I mostly watch TV when writing posts, due to a lack of free time, and I want to give it my full attention. I’m done with wasting my money on this subscription each month so I definitely need to get it done in July.
Synopsis: When man-eating Titans first appeared 100 years ago, humans found safety behind massive walls that stopped the giants in their tracks. But the safety they have had for so long is threatened when a colossal Titan smashes through the barriers, causing a flood of the giants into what had been the humans’ safe zone.
The Umbrella Academy – Netflix
Even though this was released recently I am waiting until next week to start it as I’m in the middle of a few shows right now. I also want to give it the same treatment as Attack on Titan and actually pay attention to it.
I’m not going to enjoy trying to dodge spoilers on Twitter, so I may have to spend some time muting words. I have already seen the Netlfix picture saying that not everyone will survive the season. I’m hoping it’s a red herring about Ben.
Synopsis: Reunited by their father’s death, estranged siblings with extraordinary powers uncover shocking family secrets — and a looming threat to humanity.
Comfort Films – DVD
I’m planning to buy a bunch of DVDs of my favourite/comfort films. A lot of them aren’t on any streaming services and I like the idea of watching them whenever I want. I mostly want to watch Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Love, Rosie. Major comfort vibes. Although I’ve just looked at buying them on CEX online and the shipping costs more than the six DVDs I picked added together, so looks like I’ll actually have to go in there.
