To Be Watched: September 2022

Get your hot chocolate out because my September to be watched is going to be filled with all the cosy vibes. I’m planning to do a lot of re-watches next month, especially shows/films with autumnal vibes.

I feel like there are a lot of shows returning soon but I can’t remember many of them. For that reason, I have only included one new show in my September to be watched. I’ll most likely end up watching more newer releases than what I’ve mentioned so make sure to check out my wrap-up at the end of the month.

Fate: The Winx Saga Season Two – Netflix

I am so excited for Flora to be in this show, especially as she is being played by Paulina Chavez. Flora was most people’s favourite back in the day and I am hoping they do her character justice.

The first season of this was decent but nothing spectacular, hopefully, that changes with season two.

Synopsis: Fairies attend a magical boarding school in the Otherworld, where they must learn to master their magical powers while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their very existence.

She’s The Man – Netflix

This is one of my all-time favourite films and I probably watch it at least two times a year. I did watch this not long ago however, I’ve planned to do a re-watch review of it as it’s such a classic. Plus I know this film inside out so it will be really fun to write. Keep an eye out for my review of it within the next few weeks.

Synopsis: When Viola’s football team is dissolved and she is not allowed to play on the boy’s team either, she disguises herself as her twin brother and participates in the tournament.

Gilmore Girls – Netflix

I’m currently doing a (very) slow re-watch of Gilmore Girls, again for my re-watch review series. With it coming up to autumn I thought “what better time to watch this again and do some fun reviews for my readers?”. So that’s exactly what I am doing. I’ve done one so far (available in my socials section below) and it’s actually super interesting to watch it for analytical purposes.

Synopsis: Lorelai Gilmore, an independent young woman, shares a close bond with her wilful daughter, Rory. However, her relationship with her own mother is strained.
