November is the time where TV and films start to get really good. Festive-themed shows and films start popping up and I can’t tell you how excited I am for them. I’m not going to go too crazy on the Christmas films, but do be warned I am going to mention some in this post.
Young Royals season two – Netflix
I can’t tell you just how excited I am for Young Royals season two. I’m hoping I have time to binge-watch this as otherwise, I’m going to have to stay off Twitter until I finish it.
This isn’t something I would watch with my boyfriend though so I don’t know when I’ll get time. However, it comes out on a Tuesday and I’ll have the entire evening to myself, so let’s see how many episodes I can watch in one night.
Synopsis: Prince Wilhelm adjusts to life at his prestigious new boarding school, but following his heart proves move challenging than anticipated.
One of Us is Lying season two – Netflix
I had absolutely no idea this was coming out so soon, I swear it has not been mentioned anywhere.
The first season was actually pretty good, but I still haven’t read the book. I got the audiobook a couple of months ago even though I do have it on my kindle. However, it’s a full-cast audiobook and those are my favourite. I’m definitely going to have to read it soon.
Synopsis: Mystery surrounds Bayview High when five students walk into detention and only four walk out alive, leaving one dead just as he was about to reveal life-changing secrets about the others in a gossip app. Each of the students, Bronwyn, Addy, Nate and Cooper, had the opportunity and individual motives to murder their classmate, but all claim to be innocent as the case revolves around which one of them is lying.
Enola Holmes 2 – Netflix
I only just recently watched the first Enola Holmes, but I did really enjoy it. Well the bits I properly watched, it’s a long story but I was bonding new guinea pigs at the time and had to make sure I was watching them. Weird that I mention that because I’m doing the same thing again at the moment.
I love that I haven’t said anything about the film but just talked about guinea pigs instead. I’m not surprised they are my favourite things in the world, and I’ve just got a new baby piggy.
I’ve done it again (sorry). The second instalment looks pretty good and I love mystery stories so I’m sure it will be great.
Synopsis: Enola Holmes takes on her first case as a detective, but to unravel the mystery of a missing girl, she’ll need some help from friends — and brother Sherlock.
Christmas films – Netflix, Prime Video, and DVDs
Some of you will hate me for this, but I’m going to start watching Christmas films next month. Usually, I wait until at least the 25th, however, this year I’m going to be doing a Christmas film review series so I need to start those as soon as I can.
I don’t have a proper plan of which films I am going to do yet, however, I know exactly which films I will be posting on the 1st and Christmas Eve.
Also, I just absolutely love Christmas films, they bring me so much joy and comfort, so I want to watch them anyway.
If you are interested in the Christmas film review series it will begin on the 1st of December and will run alongside my ‘12 books of Christmas’ series!
