December is the month of not doing much and watching TV all day. Which I fully intend to do, well once I finish work for the month.
I’m already really excited for Christmas because for the first time since 2017 I have time off for Christmas. Thank god I don’t work in retail anymore! Also, I’m spending Christmas Eve with my niece and nephew so I’m sure it’s going to be so much fun.
I’ve probably forgotten a really amazing show or something that’s coming out next month that I want to watch. Either way here is my December to be watched.
His Dark Materials (season three) – BBC/HBO
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for the final season of His Dark Materials. The book series is one of my favourites and it’s just so amazing.
The same can be said for the TV series. It’s so good and actually one of the best book adaptations ever made. Which is slightly hyperbolic but I fully believe it.
Synopsis: Lyra, a young orphan from an alternate world, stays with the scholars in a college in Oxford. During a quest to find her missing friend, she discovers a secret that involves several kidnappings.
All the Christmas films – Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and DVDs
I feel like it’s safe to mention Christmas now, right? Again I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to watch Christmas films. I’m one of those annoying people that loves Christmas films a little too much, but hey I’m not embarrassed about it.
Technically I’m going to start watching some in a few days as I’m planning to do some re-watch reviews of my favourite Christmas films. I’m not sure how many to do yet though.
Vlogmas – YouTube
I have no idea if any of my favourite YouTubers will be doing Vlogmas this year, I really hope they do, but either way I’ll be watching some Vlogmas videos. A few weeks ago I compiled a massive Vlogmas playlist on YouTube so I’m going to make my way through that if there isn’t much festive content going on.
If you also love Vlogmas and know of any great vloggers who are doing Vlogmas this year please let me know. I’m always up for broadening my YouTube horizons.
