What I Listened To: November 2022

It’s a little early to be posting my what I listened to, but I’ll be honest with you and say that from this point onwards I’ll be listening to a lot of Christmas music. Yes, I’m one of those weird people that absolutely loves Christmas songs. I’m not ashamed.

I’m still listening to a lot of fo music at the moment and this month’s top 5 tracks is actually quite varied for once.

Top five songs of the month (based on streams)

Pretty Girl Lie by Baby Queen

My Baby Queen obsession is not going away any time soon, and Pretty Girl Lie is my current favourite. The lyrics are actually quite clever, and also somewhat funny. It’s quite a cheeky song, but that’s why I love it. Also the catchy chorus really helps.

Hit The Wave by Marmozets

My absolute favourite Marmozets song. This entire album is incredible, but this song is particular is the one for me. Massive track.

The Way I Loved You by Taylor Swift

I’ve been playing this song on repeat pretty much since the last episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty. Honestly, at the moment at least, this is my favourite Taylor Swift song.

Blood Upon the Snow by Hozier and Bear McCreary

I’m literally obsessed with God of War at the moment and I love Hozier so of course I’ve been listening to this on repeat. It is so good and Bear McCreary is an excellent composer. The whole game soundtrack is stunning and I highly recommend it if you’re into scores!

Halcyon by Spiritbox

I feel like at least one song off this album is always included in this post. It’s genuinely one of my favourite albums of all time and I don’t think I’ll tire of it any time soon. Spiritbox are actually my third most listened-to artist on Spotify, which is crazy as I only started listening to them last year.

I didn’t listen to any podcasts last month, so this is quite a short post, sorry!
