February has felt very short, obviously, it’s the shortest month, but also super long. Every month I tell myself I should update this post as I’m watching stuff because otherwise, I forget what I’ve watched. Well, guess what? I didn’t do that and now I’m struggling to remember.
Films
She’s the Man
I think this was the only film I watched this month as I’ve been spending the majority of my free time watching shows for reviews. This is also an upcoming review. I don’t know when I’ll post it yet as I’m thinking of doing just two film reviews a month as they take such a long time to write.
This is my ultimate comfort film though. It’s what I will always put on if I’m feeling down for don’t know what to watch. It’s an absolute classic if you ask me.
TV shows
The Last of Us
Seeing one of my favourite games of all time get an incredible TV adaptation is the best thing in the world. I am finding it difficult to not get annoyed at the people who like it despite never having played the game. What’s that saying? Girlboss, gaslight, gatekeep. I’m the last one right now, I can’t help it. I’ve loved this game for almost 10 years now, so I think it’s warranted.
Anyway, this show is incredible. I flipping love Belly Ramsey as Ellie, an excellent casting choice. Pedro Pascal is also an amazing Joel, but let’s not get onto that topic because we will be here all day.
Every single episode has been really strong and a few are literally the best TV I have ever seen. There are only two episodes left and I’m not ready for it to end, I am curious if they are doing the entirety of the first game or not though. Especially as the latest episode was just half of the DLC.
The Book of Boba Fett
I put this off for so long, but then my boyfriend told me I needed to watch it before The Mandalorian season three came out. I’m really glad I did watch it because I really enjoyed it. Especially as Pedro Pascal was in three episodes. It was a really good set-up for The Mandalorian.
New Girl
I’ve been wanting to rewatch this show for such a long time. It’s definitely one of my favourite sitcoms of all time and I’m ashamed to say I’ve only watched it all the way through once. I’ve seen many episodes a lot of times, but haven’t watched them chronologically more than once. Well, that has changed. A few weeks ago I decided to add this show to my re-watch review series as I was getting a little bored of only doing super long shows and needed some quick episodes I could binge and get a lot of reviews written.
Today, I posted the very first episode (check it out here) and I’ve got a ton of them ready to go for my new posting schedule. I haven’t talked about it here yet, but I’m going to be posting a TV show episode review every other day alongside my usual posts!
The Mandalorian
I watched the first episode of season three yesterday and as there is only one episode out right now, there isn’t much to say. It was great though, I would die for Grogu. If anything happens to him, I will riot.
The Summer I Turned Pretty
A few weeks ago I got the biggest urge to watch this again, so I did. I’m well aware that it isn’t the best show ever made, but it makes me so happy. Everything about it is great. I love the cast and the soundtrack. I’m just about to finish reviewing the entire show for posts that will be coming around the time they announce season two. If they ever do. So, you have that to look forward to if you’re interested in the show.

Dark Souls: Remastered – Cynthetic
About a week ago I started watching this playthrough and I love really love Cyn. She’s definitely my favourite let’s player right now and this playthrough is great. I love watching people play FromSoftware games for the first time. A full “review” of this will come in my favourite gaming series at some point.
