S1 EP4 – Naked: When Jess walks in on Nick naked, his confidence is sent to an all-time low, just after a pretty co-worker agrees to go out with him.

I’m not really sure who to choose for this episode as it isn’t one that I’m terribly fond of. Nick has quite a few funny moments, my favourite being when he pretends to take his shirt off. I don’t know why this moment is so hilarious, I think it’s the face he pulls while doing it.
Favourite scene
Nick dancing shirtless in front of the mirror is so funny, it should make me cringe but for some reason it doesn’t. It fits his character so well and I love him. Obviously this leads to Jess walking in on him naked, the whole point of the episode, and I feel so bad for him. But it is quite funny.
Best quotes and one liners
JESS: Believe it or not, that’s not the first time someone’s broken my Feeling Stick. I have a travel size.
WINSTON: Now, I might not have a job or anything, but at least I can run a mile. I mean, watching you try to run, yeah, that was just pathetic. I needed that.
SCHMIDT: I suffer from exercise-induced asthma.
WINSTON: Do you suffer from exercise-induced crying?
SCHMIDT: It’s a real thing, man, okay? EIA.
Final thoughts and fun facts
I hate the idea of Nick with anyone but Jess so I don’t really enjoy this episode. Any episode where Nick or Jess are with other people makes me sad. They are one of my favourite TV couples.
Winston says “maybe we’ll get a cat. Maybe it’ll play the keyboard.” In fact, Winston does get a cat called Ferguson in a future episode, and he is shown to have a mini keyboard toy.
