Alice Madness Returns – Gab Smolders

Alice Madness Returns is one of my all-time favourite games. For years I have wanted one of my favourite YouTubers to do a complete playthrough of the game, but that never happened. Until November 2020 when Gab Smolders, who I had just started properly watching, played it for the first time. This really isn’t a game you come across often and honestly, I think it’s highly underrated.
Gab’s playthrough of this is amazing, just like all of her series. She’s the type of lets player that takes their time and isn’t completely over the top screaming all the time. There’s a calm and relaxing quality to all of Gab’s playthroughs and they are great to put on when you’re wanting something for background noise. I often put her videos on when I’m working on blog posts or planning my schedule.
She very quickly became a favourite of mine after watching this entire series. I love that she does super-long episodes.
I think I’m going to change up these posts a little and do them as not just my favourite playthroughs but also reviews of series. I did this for Jacksepticeye’s Dead Space playthrough, which I made review-style notes on as I watched it and I think I enjoyed that format a bit more. I don’t think I’ll change the name of the posts though.
