Best character
This episode is about Schimidt’s birthday so I have to give it to him. Plus he does have a ton of funny one liners.
I completely forgot that he tried to kiss Jess in the early days and that is actually hilarious as I could never imagine them being anything more than friends. It would be weird if they were.
Favourite scene

If you watch this video, it will explain itself. The outfit at the end really makes it.
Best quotes and one liners
JESS: You should torch them on Yelp. Actually, I can do it. I have an account under the name Fantastic Jacques. He’s a French diplomat with very little patience.
NICK: Last month he went to a party called Bros before Hos on the Moon. What does that even mean? And the dress code was “yacht flair.”
WINSTON: Are you hiding her from us? Like, are you ashamed of your friends?
NICK: 100%, and you’re not my friend right now. You’re my enemy, Winston, my enemy. WINSTON: Give me a kiss, give me a kiss.
SCHMIDT: Jess, what are you doing? I’m making an egg yellows omelette. The shallots and gouda are going to congeal.
JESS: And the R-rated section in the back with the stripper pole. It’s normally used for stability, but tonight it’s going to be used for $50 worth of seminudity.
SCHMIDT: Coincidentally, I’m wearing my lap dance pants.
SCHMIDT: Look, guys, has anyone seen my good pea coat?…Damn it! I can’t find my driving moccasins anywhere.
Best musical moment
I want to include ‘We built this Schmidty on tootsie rolls’ as it’s very cute and funny but they made Schmidt sing it for mean reasons and I hate that.
Final thoughts and fun facts
Schmidt says he’s a ‘warrior poet’. In the season 4 episode titled Micro, Jess’ date has a tattoo that says ‘warrior poet’. I feel like this show does a lot of little things like this all the time. There are quite a few running jokes, like the bear in every episode, and they are brilliant.
As always I hate any episode where Nick is with anyone that isn’t Jess, and honestly, I had completely forgotten about Julia. I don’t completely hate her though so she’s fine I guess.
