This is not going to be my usual what I listened to post. Basically, my listening habits have been a little strange lately and I actually haven’t been listening to ‘normal’ music. I’ve pretty much only been listening to my ‘reading’ playlist which is absolutely packed with tv, film and game soundtracks.
I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of classical music, but I do love a good score. I’ve been building this playlist for over a year now and it currently has 1650 songs. I don’t think I’ve listened to every single one as I’m constantly adding new music because otherwise my brain learns the melodies and then I can’t concentrate on what I’m reading.
If you are interested in checking it out, I’ll link it below. It has soundtracks from Shadow and Bone, The Last of Us, the Lord of the Rings, Bloodborne and way, way more. Gaming soundtracks are a big favourite of mine. The playlist used to have the Stardew Valley soundtrack but because I’ve played that game so much, I know the tracks too well and then I find myself singing along rather than reading (oops).
Other than talking about my reading playlist, I don’t have much else to say this month. I’ve recently created a ‘to listen to’ playlist where I’m adding new artists and bands to listen to, but I haven’t got around to it yet (typical).
I’ve also just given all of my playlists new covers and I love them.
