I’m going to keep this post super short as I’m away on a work trip when it will be posted (I’m writing this the evening before) and I’m running out of time to get posts ready. There actually aren’t too many new releases I’m excited about next month anyway, so this was always going to be a short one.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season two – Prime Video
I can’t tell you how excited I am for season two. I’m yet to read the second book, but I’m definitely going to do so before the new season starts.
Season one is generally one of my all time favourite shows, I don’t know why, I just really love it. So, I’m hoping season two will be just as good, if not better.
Synopsis: The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship.
The Witcher season three – Netflix
I didn’t realise this was happening so soon, I swear I’ve seen literally no marketing for it. I’m not all that excited for this as I know it’s Henry Cavill’s last season. I also didn’t like season two as much as the first, but maybe I need to watch it again as I don’t remember much.
Synopsis: The witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world in which people often prove more wicked than beasts.
Gilmore Girls season two (rewatch) – Netflix
I will finally begin my rewatch of the second season of Gilmore Girls next month! I’ve been putting it off for a few weeks now, but I’m almost at the point in my schedule where I need to get it done.
I’m so excited to see Jess’s entrance again, best part of the whole season if you ask me.
Synopsis: Lorelai Gilmore, an independent young woman, shares a close bond with her wilful daughter, Rory. However, her relationship with her own mother is strained.
