To Be Read: November 2023

The majority of my November will be spent finishing up festive ARCs (I have three and a half left as of writing this post) so I don’t have a lot of time for other reads. Hopefully, by the time this is posted, I’ve gotten through at least one more, but I also have normal ARCs to read.

I don’t always include ARCs in my to be read posts because I usually don’t have photos for them yet, but I’ve been somewhat organised lately and have them already. So this is basically just an ARC to be read post.

Catch Your Death by Raven Guron

I won’t lie, this was a forgotten request on NetGalley and I actually feel like I don’t have time to read this, I will give it a good go though.

I’ve really gotten into thrillers lately and this looks like the perfect one for November. This is a new author for me, so I’m interested to see what this will be like.

Synopsis: When three girls are stranded at the grand Bramble Estate in the middle of a snowstorm, they stumble into a murder plot. Someone has poisoned wealthy Emily Vanforte in the middle of a family dinner – which means Devi, Lizzie and Jayne are trapped in the house with a killer and a mystery to solve. With knives under floorboards, vanishing guns and secret passages in the walls, no one is safe and everyone is a suspect. But in a house of liars and corruption, will the girls save themselves…or learn to fit in?

Four Good Liars by Sarah Wishart

I may have started by the time this post goes up, but it depends on how quickly I get through my current reads. I’m a little stuck with Accidental Magic at the moment and it feels like I’m not getting anywhere.

However, this is another thriller/mystery which is apparently my latest obsession. Another new author, so let’s see how good this one is.

Synopsis: Layla. Kai. Liam. Fliss.

Terrified big sister. Troubled surfer. Insecure genius. Pampered princess.

They have nothing in common, except they were all on the school bus that morning. The morning of the crash. The morning they discovered the dead driver’s holdall, containing one million pounds – and a gun.

All of them have secrets, and all of them need that money. But someone dangerous is hunting it down, and drawing closer every minute. If Layla, Kai, Liam and Fliss want to survive, they’ll need to stick together. But can four good liars really trust one another? Or are some truths just too powerful to stay buried…?
