I totally agree with Jonah’s stance on guns. If he doesn’t believe in selling them, he shouldn’t have to be the one to do it. He can be quite condescending at times, but he’s right this time.

JONAH: But you said I have the right to refuse service to anybody I want.
AMY: Yes, technically you have the right, but you need to use some common sense.
JONAH: If I was using common sense, I would take all of these guns and throw them out the door.
JONAH: I shouldn’t have been there in the first place, okay? Technically, this is Amy’s fault.
AMY: What?
GLENN: Amy, can you just move Jonah?
AMY: No, he doesn’t get to win.
JONAH: Ugh. Why are you being like this?
AMY: “Like this.” What is “like this”? I’m doing my job.
MATEO: Oh, my God, just bang already.
GARRETT: That’s what I been saying.
Final thoughts and fun facts
As a British person, the fact that box stores in the US sell guns. Why the hell are they so easily accessible? America has a serious problem.
One of the customers who comes to Jonah to purchase a rifle mentions he just got fired from his job. This is the plot of Falling Down (1993), starring Michael Douglas. The customer is wearing the same outfit Douglas wears in the movie.
Amy wears a different name tag in each episode. This episode her name tag says “Rachel”.
At the end of every episode the card for the production company Spitzer Holding Company features a variety of items they specialize in. In this episode they list Asset Disposal, Museums, and Youth Chiropractics.
