The last time I uploaded one of these I said I probably wouldn’t actually get rid of these books before the next post and I was 100% correct. I keep forgetting they exist, which is part of the reason why this series exists in the first place.
My mom is staying with me next week, so I might try to either give some books to her or get her to help me take them to the charity shop.
The Witch’s Kiss by Katharine Corr & Elizabeth Corr
I read this back in 2017 and I remember enjoying it, but again it isn’t something I’d ever want to re-read so it’s an easy remove.
Synopsis: Sixteeen-year-old Meredith is fed-up with her feuding family and feeling invisible at school – not to mention the witch magic that shoots out of her fingernails when she’s stressed. Then sweet, sensitive Jack comes into her life and she falls for him hard. The only problem is that he is periodically possessed by a destructive centuries-old curse. Meredith has lost her heart, but will she also lose her life? Or in true fairytale tradition, can true love’s kiss save the day?
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
This series has been sitting on my shelves for about four years and I’ve never once thought about reading it. I ordered the entire series when I first moved to Brighton and didn’t have any books, I’d heard really great things about it, but never actually picked it up.
If I ever did think about reading this, I’d buy it on my Kindle rather than have it taking up space on my shelves.
