Best character
I love that Hilda gets braver and more savage as the series continues. She started out as very timid and now she’s killing other witches and going off at the witch council. You tell em Hilda, bunch of psychotic misogynists.

Best quotes and one liners
AMBROSE: Bloody hell, Cuz. Why do these things always happen to you?
SABRINA: I wish I knew, but please don’t tell the aunties.
AMBROSE: That the Apocalypse is imminent and you might be responsible? Keep that a secret?
SABRINA: The Apocalypse isn’t happening, we can stop it, but I need your help. You want to create a double of yourself using a mandrake root? I read about it in one of Aunt Hilda’s magic recipe books. Mm-hm. The mandrake will siphon off my darker energies. It’ll grow using those energies. And then you immediately kill it, thereby releasing those energies up into the universe. I know how it goes. Once that happens, it will be impossible for me to initiate the Apocalypse.
AMBROSE: Oh, I’m sure you will find a way.
SABRINA: I couldn’t let my legacy be the destruction of the world.
NICK: Maybe it’s selfish of me, but I don’t care about the world, I only care about you.
HARVEY: I’m never gonna eat another vegetable again.
THEO: Like you ate vegetables before?
PRUDENCE: You were right about my father.
ZELDA: Hideous, isn’t he?
Final thoughts and fun facts
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) is referenced in the scene where Theo, Roz and Harvey are in the woods and their duplicates are being formed in the same way as that film. Sabrina’s Mandrake also holds her mouth open making a shriek and pointing in the same way that film ends.
Sabrina’s request of blueberry pancakes for breakfast, her “favourite,” followed by her ravenous eating of them is a nod to the infamous episode of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” in which Sabrina becomes magically addicted to binge eating pancakes.
