Little Misfortune – Jacksepticeye
Episodes: 3
This is one of those games that you never expect to love so much. I watched this just as something to have on in the background while I write posts and I find myself watching it rather than working.
Firstly, I have to talk about the art style. My boyfriend constantly makes fun of me for commenting on the art style of things and saying I’d love to see other media adapted in that style. But I’m very passionate about it so I don’t care.
I really love this art style, especially the backgrounds/settings. It’s such an interesting style and I actually find it quite cosy. I think it’s the autumnal vibes.
There is nothing funnier than Sean’s reactions to the outrageous things Misfortune says. Her character is very well-written. She’s saying some really dark stuff but she still has childlike wonder which is kinda what makes it funny. Obviously, what she’s saying isn’t funny, but it’s the delivery that really makes it.
Sean’s playthrough of pretty much anything will always be my go to and favourite. His humour and personality really match my own and I think if I watched anyone else play this, I wouldn’t like it so much.
It’s a really short game, so there’s not much to say about it, but you really need to watch it for yourself to understand.
