Spider-Man 2 – Jacksepticeye
Episodes: 9
Synopsis: “Swing, jump and utilize the new Web Wings to travel across Marvel’s New York, quickly switching between Peter Parker and Miles Morales to experience different stories and epic new powers while the incredible power of the symbiote forces Peter and Miles to face the ultimate test of strength, both inside and outside the mask, as they balance their lives, and friendships as the iconic villain Venom threatens to destroy their lives, their city and the ones they love.”
Something I have never talked about on here is how much I love Spider-Man, he’s been my favourite superhero since I was a kid and I love every variation. Knowing this, you can imagine just how excited I was for this game, especially as you get to play as both Peter and Miles.
It’s very obvious from this series that Sean (Jacksepticeye) is my go to for playthroughs and even though I never watched his series on the first game, I still really enjoyed watching him play this one. I can’t play it myself as I don’t have a PS5.
The opening sequence of this game is some of the best cinematics/gameplay I have ever seen. They did such an incredible job with this game, even if it is a little all over the place. It’s stils very entertaining though, I could watch Peter/Miles swinging around the city for hours.
I watched this quite some time ago and didn’t make any notes (classic) so I don’t really know what to say that isn’t my usual “Sean is very funny”, “he has great comedic timing” and “I love him”.
I’m definitely going to rewatch this series again at some point, both because I love the game and because Sean is my favourite. But also because I didn’t realise Laura Bailey voiced MJ and I adore her.
If you’re looking for an action packed game with many epic moments. There’s a particularly big one that if you’ve either watched or played the game you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s so fun and there are so many hours of content, which I personally love, long series for the win.
