Best character

This is a surprisingly sad episode and to be honest, everyone has their flaws. It’s sad to see Dash hurt by Lily kissing another boy but he did the exact same thing the night before. For this reason, I don’t have anyone to choose, which has never happened before.

Best quotes and one liners

LILY: It’s about your friend…Dash.

BOOMER: He told you his name? Oh, he didn’t tell you. But I just did.

DASH: Hi, two tickets for Collation, the eight o’clock show.

CINEMA WORKER: It’s amazing. I’ve never cried harder, and I’ve seen 20 The Notebook times.

DASH: Collation is sad?

CINEMA WORKER: Tears of joy.

MRS BASIL E: And what have we learned, Lily?

LILY: Um, taking too many sips of other people’s drinks leads to headaches. And heartaches.

MRS BASIL E: And?

LILY: Don’t mix your drinks.

Final thoughts and fun facts

I love that this episode opens with the music from Home Alone when they’re rushing to get to the airport. It makes me feel so much nostalgia.

This is possibly one of the saddest Christmas-related things I’ve watched. The entire episode has an underlying sadness and it’s a little heartbreaking.

On a happier note, the next episode is much more joyful.

Also, Austin Abrams gives me tall vibes but he really isn’t. This is a completely random thought but it really threw me off the first time I saw him.
