I feel like this isn’t one for everyone, but I genuinely really like it. It instantly caught my eye which is why I wanted to read it. Using emojis to create the image of an influencer is such a genius idea. Sadly I don’t know who created this cover, but hats off to you.
The mystery the cover exudes also really supports the plot and I don’t know, there’s something about dark covers with small pops of colour that I really like. I’m very drawn to thriller and mystery covers for this exact reason.

Chain of Iron (The Last Hours #2) by Cassandra Clare
The Last Hours’ covers are probably my favourite of all of Cassandra Clare’s books and with good reason. Just look how beautiful this one is. I seriously love the colour palette of this cover and the way the light falls over Lucie is just stunning.
Plus, they look less like real people than some of her previous covers. I don’t know if you’ve seen the original City of Bones cover (I actually own it so could have included it if I thought ahead) but it’s awful – no offence to the cover artist, it’s just very of it’s time and wouldn’t sell at all in today’s book cover market.
