I’ve recently bought a few new thrillers to read and I’m so excited about them. I’m hoping for some really surprising reads and maybe even a few to talk about in these posts.

The Dark Place by Britney S. Lewis
This is definitely a thriller but I wouldn’t say it’s a particularly scary one. Probably because it’s a YA release. The cover is so cool though.
I really enjoyed this book, it was a pretty quick read and I didn’t want to put it down. However, it is fairly unsatisfying. I’m assuming it will be a series as the ‘time travel’ part of it isn’t fully explored. I’d still recommend it though.

You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight by Kalynn Bayron
This is a great short read. It’s less than 300 pages but still packs a punch. If you’re a fan of the summer camp horror trope, this book is for you.
The ending of You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight is genuinely shocking. I like to think I’m really good at guessing twists and endings, but this one got me.
ARC Review: You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight by Kalynn Bayron

If Charity and her girlfriend Bezi hope to survive the night, they’ll need figure out what this killer is after. Is there is more to the story of Mirror Lake and its dangerous past than Charity ever suspected?
