I feel like spring is the perfect time to read romance, don’t ask me why, it makes sense to me. These posts are some of my favourites to plan but books that give off spring vibes are the hardest to find.
Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
This cover screams spring to me, so I obviously had to choose it for the season. I have no idea when it’s set, but you add flowers to a cover and I think of spring.
I’m yet to read The Cheat Sheet, so this will be my first book from Sarah Adams.
Synopsis: Annie Walker is on a quest to find her perfect match—someone who complements her happy, quiet life running the local flower shop in Rome, Kentucky. But finding her dream man may be harder than Annie imagined. Everyone knows everyone in her hometown, and the dating prospects are getting fewer by the day. Spell Bound by Gretchen Rue
I’d normally save this type of book for October AKA witchy season, but this cover has major spring vibes. I enjoyed the first book in this series and I’m interested to see where the mystery goes next.
Synopsis: Since moving to Raven Creek, Phoebe Winchester has had a lot on her plate.
She’s renovating the Victorian manor she inherited from her Aunt Eudora, running a tea shop (and secret magical apothecary), and learning to be a witch. But when she discovers a dead body at an estate sale, and suspicion falls on her, even Phoebe wonders if this is simply too much.
Forced to take action to clear her name, Phoebe enlists Rich Lofting, handsome private detective and childhood friend, to assist with her investigation, all while sorting out her unresolved feelings for him.
Is there something more sinister lurking in the shadows of this small tight-knit town? And does Phoebe really want to find out?
