I get so excited to plan out what I’m going to watch for the next month but I feel like something always gets in the way of it. Last month I wanted to watch 90210 on Prime Video because I saw an article saying it was going to be available. Well turns out it’s on Prime but you have to pay extra for it. So from now on, I’m only going to talk about shows and films I know are definitely available to me.
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin
Hello BBC iPlayer, apparently you’re my new best friend. I’ve been wanting to watch this since it was announced and it’s just become available on iPlayer. I’m hoping it’s just as unhinged as the original series, which I’m thinking of doing re-watch reviews of if I can find the transcripts online.
Synopsis: Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart; now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls, a brand-new set of Little Liars, find themselves tormented by an unknown ‘A’ssailant.
Gossip Girl
I don’t know whether to bother with the new series as I’m pretty sure it’s just been cancelled (correct me if I’m wrong), but it is also available on iPlayer so I might.
I’ve been desperate to rewatch Gossip Girl (for the fourth time) for ages now, but it’s not on Netflix anymore. However, it’s now on BBC iPlayer, so I can finally do it (yay). I’m toying with the idea of reviewing it because it’s so over top and also a little unhinged, just like Pretty Little Liars.
Synopsis: Blair Waldorf is a popular student at her private school and envied by one and all. But, her perfect life is unsettled when her ex-best friend enrols in the same institution.
Derry Girls
This whole post has basically just been me talking about shows I might rewatch and review, but this is one I’m definitely doing. I absolutely adore Derry Girls and I’ve wanted to rewatch the entire series for a while now.
I’m planning to post a review of the first episode on August 2nd (yes, I’m actually that organised with posts now, I can’t believe it either).
Synopsis: In Derry, Northern Ireland, a young girl and her cousin embark on many exciting adventures after they attend a Catholic girls’ school in the midst of a national conflict.
