These posts are always so short now because it’s a real rare occasion for me to listen to a podcast. I don’t have time for them because if I’m listening to something, I want it to be an audiobook I can review.
Songs I’ve enjoyed in August
I’m constantly singing this song at the moment. It’s an underrated banger, much like the majority of this album. I am still pretending their latest album doesn’t exist.
I’m still absolutely loving this song, it’s another one that I’m constantly singing. I’m yet to listen to Dylan’s latest song, I’m sure it has great vibes.
This played on the radio while I stayed at my sister’s house and we were both having a great time singing along to it. We don’t see each other very often so that moment really meant a lot to me.
Still obsessed with this song. I don’t like the second single as much. I’m sorry, but Vampire is such a strong lead single so it had a lot to live up to.
Audiobooks I listened to in August
The first audiobook I listened to this month was We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han. I fully got on the The Summer I Turned Pretty hype train and I’ve now finished the book series. I’d never planned to actually read them, but when I saw the audiobooks were narrated by the cast, I was sold.
The narration is definitely the best parts of these books. I’m not a fan of Jeremiah though, so I didn’t enjoy most of the book. Well, I’m partly joking, I did like it, but I hate Jeremiah.
The second audiobook I listened to was P.S It’s Always Been You: Part 1 by Lauren Blakely. This was a great quick read that had a surprising amount of depth for it’s short duration. It has three parts and I’ll probably listen to the next two over the next month or so.
