Welcome to Blogmas 2025!
Once again I am calling this month Blogmas despite posting every day anyway. It’s the only time of year that I theme every post of the month, so let me have my fun.
Anyway, Blogmas is going to look a little different this year. I’m still doing the ‘12 Books of Christmas’ series that I do every year but as Critical Role Campaign 4 is happening right now, I will be posting them as usual. If the day one of these reviews falls on isn’t a book review, I won’t be posting festive content that day. I’m mostly doing this to save my own sanity. Gone are the days when I could post multiple posts a day. I think there’s only one day that has two posts though.
Speaking of my ‘12 Books of Christmas’ series, I have already read and reviewed all 12 books and you are in for quite a journey. I think this year is the earliest I have ever finished reading them all and I’m feeling the effects of it. I can’t lie, this year was a struggle, which you’re about to find out. I won’t give too much away but my reviews are a little spicy this year. Let’s just say, I didn’t choose my books very well.
I also have a bunch of festive content coming, most of which are returning post types: best festive covers, winter to be read, best festive audiobooks etc. Those are the ones I enjoy most every year. I love looking back at the festive books I read in previous years.
They’re not part of Blogmas, but I’ve read a lot of other festive books this year. Some of which you will have already seen as most of the audiobook reviews have been posted already. Hopefully at least some of them have photos, as currently, my camera is broken. But I’m writing this post a few weeks early so hopefully it’s fixed by now. Please cross everything for me, I can’t afford a new camera.
Anyway, I’m excited for the next month of festive content. There’s a little less than previous years, but it’s all great. I promise.
