Best character
It definitely has to be Jonah. He is so kind to Emma and I love how much research he did into period products to help her out. He really is a great guy.

Imagine having Dina’s passion to do this in a retail job. I’d never stop shoplifters, thank god I don’t work in retail anymore. I was surprised how many people are offended by this episode in the comments of this clip, it’s an over-the-top comedy clip.
Jonah trying to figure out all of the period products is both cute and hilarious. The best part is when he sticks a load of pads to his face and body and acts like a mummy just as a customer walks into the toilet.
Best quotes and one liners
JONAH: [old man “asleep” on a store sofa] What are you doing? He’s so peaceful. Just let him be.
GARRETT: Man, if I got to be awake, he got to be awake. [Shouts] Yo! Old white dude! Black people taking over! Ooh. That usually wakes ’em up.
DINA: Well, we can likely rule out foul play. According to his license, he was 87. Probably died of old age.
CHEYENNE: My great-grandma died the same way. Her mom too. Bad genes, I guess.
GLENN: I thought we should all gather as a group in sort of a safe space so that we can share any feelings that we have about what happened. Um, is anyone feeling any sadness? Or shock? Or guilt? There are no wrong answers. Yes, Garrett.
GARRETT: I guess apathy. I don’t got any feelings about this dude.
GLENN: Okay, uh, Garrett, thank you for sharing. Um, is anyone else feeling feelings of apathy? Okay, well, that’s valid. That’s va – no, it’s not valid! You know what? No one is leaving this room until I see someone express some real g-d emotion!
JONAH: Uh, well, perhaps seeing a dead person today made us all realize how fragile the journey of life really is.
GLENN: Thank you. A little cliché, but points for effort. All right, um, why don’t we just all bow our heads.
DINA: No religion in the workplace.
GLENN: Okay, a moment of silence.
DINA: Nope. Not if you’re thinking about God.
GLENN: Okay, Amy, could you come and say a few secular words?
AMY: Um, Charles, uh, wasn’t just a man who needed corrective lenses, he was also not an organ donor. And, um, in conclusion, he lived on Oak Street. Thank you
JONAH: Hi, I’m Jonah.
EMMA: Yeah, I figured. You’re right, he is incompetent.
JONAH: [to Amy] You told her I was incompetent?
JONAH: Oh, “Maze Runner!” We must chat when you get back. I have lots of opinions.
AMY: Would it make you feel better. If we did something for his family?
GLENN: I know a guy who makes life-size puppets. Of the deceased using their actual hair. AMY: Well, that’s one idea. Here’s another one. What if we sent his family a condolence card?
GLENN: Oh, that’s even better. ‘Cause those puppets are pretty horrifying.
JONAH: Excuse me, ah… I’m an 11-year-old girl. Do I like pads or tampons? Hyp… hypothetically.
Final thoughts and fun facts
Amy’s unique name tags continue. In this episode, her name tag says “Allison”.
At the end of every episode, the card for the production company Spitzer Holding Company features a variety of items they specialize in. In this episode, they list E-commerce, Probate Auctions, and Logistics.
Glenn mentions he knows someone that makes life size puppets of the deceased with their own hair. At Emma’s Quinceanera, he gives her a doll made with his wife’s hair. Ah Glenn, you are so weird.
