Superstore
The fact that Superstore is so easy to watch is what makes it so comforting to me. I know that if I’m feeling down I can put any episode of this on and it will make me laugh. The humour is absolutely ridiculous but that’s why I like it. I genuinely think it’s one of the funniest sitcoms of all time and I will stand by that.
I feel like this show is even funnier for anyone that’s ever worked in retail. The customers seem ridiculous but it’s actually what working in retail is like. I enjoy this show even more since leaving my retail job over three years ago. I can laugh through the pain of working in retail now that it’s not my reality any more. Does anyone else feel this way?
Amy and Jonah’s relationship is so special to me. I wish they didn’t add all of that drama in the final season but the will-they-won’t-they, they went through for years was wonderfully painful. Does that make sense? We all love mutual pining right and their chemistry from episode one was ridiculous.
I also really love Dina and Garrett. They’re a more underrated couple on the show but I do believe they bought the best out of each other in the end. Let’s not talk about the bird storyline though.
I’ve only watched the entire series chronologically twice as I only watched random episodes here and there when it first came out. I finished my second watch, which I was reviewing to begin with, a few months ago and it’s just as good the second time round. I love having a sitcom on in the background while I write blog posts.
