Top Kindle Monthly Deals: July 2026

As someone that pretty much exclusively buys books in the Kindle monthly deals, I feel like I should start sharing some of the best ones I’ve found each month. This will be a recurring post somewhere around the middle of each month so keep an eye out for it so you can get the best deals (potentially UK only as I assume the deals are different depending on where you live).

The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

If any of Cassandra Clare’s books ever go on sale for 99p, you’d be a fool to miss that opportunity – it doesn’t happen very often. I still don’t own all of her books on my Kindle as it would cost a small fortune to do so.

I love this series. There are currently only two books published, with a third expected to come after her next series The Wicked Powers has been released. I’m not sure if this information is still true but I would love to see a conclusion to Magnus and Alec’s adventure. I actually read this so long ago now that I’d need to re-read the first two books in order to read the third.

Anyway, that’s not what this post is about. This is about the fact that The Red Scrolls of Magic is currently on sale on Amazon and you should definitely check it out.

Synopsis: All Magnus Bane wanted was a vacation—a lavish trip across Europe with Alec Lightwood, the Shadowhunter who against all odds is finally his boyfriend. But as soon as the pair settles in Paris, an old friend arrives with news about a demon-worshipping cult called the Crimson Hand that is bent on causing chaos around the world. A cult that was apparently founded by Magnus himself. Years ago. As a joke.

Now Magnus and Alec must race across Europe to track down the Crimson Hand and its elusive new leader before the cult can cause any more damage. As if it wasn’t bad enough that their romantic getaway has been sidetracked, demons are now dogging their every step, and it is becoming harder to tell friend from foe. As their quest for answers becomes increasingly dire, Magnus and Alec will have to trust each other more than ever—even if it means revealing the secrets they’ve both been keeping.

Bride by Ali Hazelwood

I’m yet to delve into the world of Bride but based on the fact that I’ve given every single one of Ali Hazelwood’s full length novels perfect five star ratings, I like my chances of enjoying this book. Shifter romance isn’t something I’m well versed in though – I’ve only read one other and that was by accident.

I will always recommend checking out Ali Hazelwood’s books, they’re some of my all time favourite romances.

Synopsis: Misery Lark, the only daughter of the most powerful Vampyre councilman of the Southwest, is an outcast—again. Her days of living in anonymity among the Humans are over: she has been called upon to uphold a historic peacekeeping alliance between the Vampyres and their mortal enemies, the Weres, and she sees little choice but to surrender herself in the exchange—again…

Weres are ruthless and unpredictable, and their Alpha, Lowe Moreland, is no exception. He rules his pack with absolute authority, but not without justice. And, unlike the Vampyre Council, not without feeling. It’s clear from the way he tracks Misery’s every movement that he doesn’t trust her. If only he knew how right he was….

Because Misery has her own reasons to agree to this marriage of convenience, reasons that have nothing to do with politics or alliances, and everything to do with the only thing she’s ever cared about. And she is willing to do whatever it takes to get back what’s hers, even if it means a life alone in Were territory…alone with the wolf.

Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams

Speaking of all time favourite romances, Practice Makes Perfect is my actual all time favourite. I fell completely in love with this book a few years ago and I still think about it every now and then. It’s the book I hold other romances to, especially ones set in small towns. Who doesn’t love weird townies in romance books?

You can’t go terribly wrong with a Sarah Adams book, but this one is the one I’d highly recommend you check out.

Synopsis: Annie Walker is on a quest to find her perfect match—someone who complements her happy, quiet life running the local flower shop in Rome, Kentucky. But finding her dream man may be harder than Annie imagined. Everyone knows everyone in her hometown, and the dating prospects are getting fewer by the day. After she overhears her latest date say she is “so unbelievably boring,” Annie starts to think the problem might be her. Is it too late to become flirtatious and fun like the leading ladies in her favorite romance movies? Maybe she only needs a little practice . . . and Annie has the perfect person in mind to be her tutor: Will Griffin.

Will—the sexy, tattooed, and absolutely gorgeous bodyguard—is temporarily back in Rome, providing security for Amelia Rose as excitement builds for her upcoming marriage to Noah Walker, Annie’s brother. He has one personal objective while on the job: stay away from Annie Walker and any other possible attachments to this sleepy town. But no sooner than he gets settled, Will finds himself tasked with helping Annie find the love of her life by becoming the next leading lady of Rome, Kentucky. Will wants no part in changing the sweet and lovely Annie. He knows for a fact that some stuffy, straitlaced guy won’t make her happy, but he doesn’t have the heart to say no.

Amid steamy practice dates and strictly “educational” tutoring lessons, Annie discovers there are more layers to Will’s usual stoic attitude. As the lines of their friendship become dangerously blurred, Annie reconsiders her dream guy. Maybe her love life doesn’t need to be perfect—it just needs to be real.

Book Lovers by Emily Henry

This is another book I haven’t checked out yet, but based on the fact that this seems to be a lot of people’s favourite Emily Henry book, and how much I loved Beach Read, it seems like now is a great time to buy it if you haven’t already. I think I own all of Emily Henry’s books because of the Kindle monthly deals. It’s hard to pass up a book that’s only 99p.

Synopsis: One summer. Two rivals. A plot twist they didn’t see coming….

Nora Stephens’ life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.

Which is why she agrees to go to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina for the month of August when Libby begs her for a sisters’ trip away—with visions of a small-town transformation for Nora, who she’s convinced needs to become the heroine in her own story. But instead of picnics in meadows, or run-ins with a handsome country doctor or bulging-forearmed bartender, Nora keeps bumping into Charlie Lastra, a bookish brooding editor from back in the city. It would be a meet-cute if not for the fact that they’ve met many times and it’s never been cute.

If Nora knows she’s not an ideal heroine, Charlie knows he’s nobody’s hero, but as they are thrown together again and again—in a series of coincidences no editor worth their salt would allow—what they discover might just unravel the carefully crafted stories they’ve written about themselves.

The Hurricane Wars by Thea Guanzon

You’ll start to see a theme in these posts that I haven’t read all of the books I’m talking about, but I’ve at least read one other book by the author. That’s the case with Thea Guanzon. She wrote the novelisation of Tusk Love from Critical Role’s campaign two: The Mighty Nein, and she nailed it. I had a lot of expectations for that book and it was incredible. Therefore, I have a lot of faith that her other books are to a similar standard.

Synopsis: The heart is a battlefield.

All Talasyn has ever known is the Hurricane Wars. Growing up an orphan in a nation under siege by the ruthless Night Emperor, Talasyn has found her family among the soldiers who fight for freedom. But she is hiding a deadly secret: light magic courses through her veins, a blazing power believed to have been wiped out years ago that can cut through the Night Empire’s shadows.

Prince Alaric, the emperor’s only son and heir, has been forged into a weapon by his father. Tasked with obliterating any threats to the Night Empire’s rule with the strength of his armies and mighty Shadow magic, Alaric has never been bested. That is until he sees Talasyn burning brightly on the battlefield with the magic that killed his grandfather, turned his father into a monster, and ignited the Hurricane Wars. In a clash of light and dark, their powers merge and create a force the likes of which has never been seen.

Talasyn and Alaric both know this war can only end with them. But a greater threat is coming, and the strange new magic they can create together could be the only way to overcome it. Thrust into an uneasy alliance, they will confront the secrets at the heart of the war and find, in each other, a searing passion–one that could save their world…or destroy it.

A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber

Now you truly can’t go wrong with a Stephanie Garber book. This series in particular is incredible. I have the books in both physical and Ebook formats because I love them that much, and 99p for this instalment is a steal.
