My entire life has been taken over by Critical Role lately as I binge watched the end of campaign three. I’ll talk about this more in my ‘what I watched’ wrap up but just know there were tears, a lot of them!
Anyway, I’ve decided to go back to campaign two because I need The Mighty Nein in my life again. I won’t be bingeing it as intensely though, this is more of a casual viewing to fill the void before campaign four starts whenever they plan to jump into a new story. I’m not sure if anyone would care but I’d love to do a review series when the next campaign starts, could be really fun.
This may seem completely random but I’ve just bought all of the Venom films on DVD because I didn’t get a chance to see the final one at the cinema so I’ll likely be watching that next month.
I don’t care what people have to say about those films, I think they’re great. The reason why I love the Sony Marvel films (and why Spider-man is my favourite superhero) is because they don’t take themselves too seriously. There’s always just the right amount of comedy in them (for me) and Venom is probably the funniest of them all.
There’s a chance I’ll continue watching The Vampire Diaries but if I get stuck into The Mighty Nein, it becomes more and more unlikely that I’ll watch any actual TV shows. However, I’m now at the point where all of the Original siblings are being woken up and I love the drama and chaos they bring. It’s almost unholy to think that they were originally only supposed to be a very small part of the show, as was Katherine.
One thing I do really want to do is watch a couple of YouTube game playthroughs for my review series. I still have a few scheduled to go out over the next few months but I’d like to stay that far ahead if I can. I’ve discovered a few new YouTubers since I last wrote one of those posts so it will be fun to check them out.
