To Be Watched: November 2025

The Mighty Nein

It’s time guys. I’m so freaking excited. Especially after the announcement that the seasons and episodes will be longer than The Legend of Vox Machina. Don’t get me wrong, I love The Legend of Vox Machina, but I’ve actually watched campaign two, so I have a feeling this show is going to make my heart sing.

I’m interested to see how they’ve adapted the initial episodes of the campaign to be a more cohesive story because, let’s be honest, the Nein were all over the place. Literally. Also, Essek will be making an appearance much earlier than the original campaign. I don’t think he showed up until around episode 60, so the behind the scenes of how they’re linked to what’s going on will be fun to see.

Can we also just appreciate the guest cast for this show? Rahul Kohli, Auli’i Cravalho, Alan Cumming, Angelica Houston. Lucy Liu?! Actually insane.

Synopsis: Follows a group of criminals and misfits who are the only ones that can prevent the kingdom from plunging into chaos when an arcane artifact capable of reshaping reality falls into the wrong hands.

Yellowjackets

I’ve been telling myself for years now that I need to watch Yellowjackets. I’ve heard such good things about it and it really sounds like something I’d enjoy. I don’t watch horror/thrillers very often, i prefer to read them, but i’m excited to check this out.

I would say this is a show I’d watch with my boyfriend, but he works most evenings and I have a feeling this is a show I will want to binge.

Synopsis: Part survival epic, part psychological horror story, and part coming-of-age drama, “Yellowjackets” is the saga of a wildly talented girls high school soccer team, who become the unlucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. This series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team, to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together twenty-five years later; proving that what lies in the past is never really past, and what began out in the wilderness, 25 years ago, is far from over.

Critical Role Campaign 4

I won’t talk about this too much, as I’m literally writing weekly review posts, but I’m loving campaign four so far. The ‘non-overture’ episodes begin in November and I’m so intrigued to see where this story will go. I’m not particularly great at following world politics, so I’m definitely missing something, but I’m having fun.

I’ll also be continuing campaign two during the month, which I have considerably slowed down. If I can get through the new campaign four episodes the day they come out, I’ll have more time for campaign two episodes. Does that make sense? I don’t like switching between campaigns mid episodes.

Synopsis: Hero to many. Enemy to some. When Thjazi Fang is marked for execution, various figures from across his remarkable life unite to uncover the truth behind his grim fate. In a land still suffering from the fallout of dead gods and living in the shadow of a tumultuous rebellion, these disparate people will come together across the fractured world of Aramán and connect in ways they never imagined.

As hope and victory fade, a question hangs over Aramán. Without the Gods, what great deeds now fall to us? And who, or what, shall grab their crown from themselves?
