School Spirits season two
This show is so insanely good that I’m surprised I never see anyone talking about it online. It’s such a unique concept and the acting is phenomenal. I’m actually feeling glad I waited so long to get around to this as I didn’t need to wait to begin season three. The end of season two would have filled me with complete dread if I wasn’t able to instantly begin the new season. I’ve only watched two episodes of season three so far and I’m still loving this show.
If you have Paramount+ I highly recommend you check out School Spirits.
Synopsis: High school can feel like an eternity. For some students at Split River High, it literally is. Maddie, a 16-year-old girl, is newly deceased and finds herself trapped in afterlife-limbo at her high school, where she discovers that she’s stuck with those who have also died in the school over the past 100 years. For some reason she’s the only one who can still communicate with the living, so she uses her new-found abilities to help investigate her own murder.
Skyrim playthrough – Kastaclysm
I spent a lot of January either watching or playing Skyrim. At least twice a year I go through a ‘Skyrim is my favourite thing in the world. I need to obsessively play it for two months straight’ phase. Kastaclysm playing the game for the first time in January has kicked off my first obsessive phase for the game this year.
I’m yet to meet someone that has played this game and didn’t love it. Skyrim was one of the very first games I fell in love with and to this day it’s an all-time top five game for me.
Kasta’s playthrough is probably not going to be enjoyable if you’re a hardcore lover of this game. I am a hardcore lover but I’m also very patient. She’s playing the Xbox 360 version and as the episodes are livestreamed there’s a lot of talking to her chat. I’m not really a fan of this but these streams are great to have on in the background while I get other stuff done.
The best part about this playthrough so far is how adamant she is about not wanting to be a stealth archer. I’ve played this game so many times now and I also have never wanted to be an archer. I think I tried it on my first playthrough while doing the thieves guild quests, but I’m not a fan of stealth.
Synopsis: The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.
Bridgerton season 4 part one
The whole ‘splitting a season in two parts’ bit is getting real old now. I think I could understand it more if shows still had 20+ episodes but releasing just four episodes is diabolical. I’d rather they release them weekly, at least then you have something to look forward to each week rather than having to wait over a month for another four episodes.
Anyway, I’m loving this season so far. Yerin Ha is such a wonderful addition to this cast and she really does light up the screen every time she shows up.
It’s hilarious how outraged people have been that this season is basically Cinderella. Have they never heard of a fairytale retelling? I think it’s brilliant. There’s comfort in knowing how the story will play out but then excitement in the fact that it’s an entirely different world and characters.
The ending has disgusted me a little. It felt very much not like something Benedict would do – they’ve really dumbed him down this season. I hope the next episode begins with him realising how stupid he’s been to ask that particular question. Apparently this isn’t how it plays out in the book, so it’s a very interesting choice for them to make.
Synopsis: The spare Bridgerton brother (as he calls himself), Benedict, is still refusing his mother’s wishes to settle down. Rather, he’s acting like a rake all around town. But at the season’s first ball — a masquerade held by none other than Lady Violet Bridgerton — that all changes. Benedict is taken aback by his encounter with the Lady in Silver, a mysterious attendee who quickly catches the attention of the ton. As quickly as she comes into his life, though, she vanishes. And in her place is a plucky young maid named Sophie Baek, who is stuck under the employ of the formidable Lady Araminta Gun.
Bridgerton season four brings some serious conflict for Benedict between his affection for this intriguing maid and his fantasy of the Lady in Silver. He’s unaware that they are the same person, so can the budding relationship between the two survive? Can true love truly conquer anything — even a cross-class connection forbidden by society?

I’ve been meaning to check out School Spirits, is season one just as good as two? 🤔
I’ve really enjoyed all seasons so far (I’m halfway through season three currently). I’d definitely recommend checking it out!
