What I Listened To: March 2023

I feel like I listened to a lot in March, but nothing has really stood out to me. I’m such a creature of habit when it comes to the music I’m listening to and I’m really making it a goal for myself to expand my musical horizons this year. I’m not doing too great at it so far though.

Songs I’ve enjoyed in March

This one is a little bittersweet as I was really hyping myself up to get Busted tour tickets, but sadly, that did not happen. However, this is my favourite Busted song and they’ve actually been one of my favourite bands since I was a kid.

Very random, but this is one of my current favourite Taylor Swift songs. I’ve really been enjoying this album lately and I think it’s one of my favourites.

This isn’t my favourite Daisy Jones & The Six song, but it is constantly stuck in my head and I find myself singing it without realising. I’m genuinely so surprised at how good this album is, especially considering most of the ‘band’ had never sung or played instruments prior to the show.

This is my favourite Daisy Jones & The Six song, don’t ask me why. I don’t really have an answer for you. I just really like the style and sound of it.

Favourite podcast episode of the month

As always I didn’t really listen to many podcast episodes this month as I’m super behind on everything and it’s intimidating me. However, I did start listening to Welcome To Our Show, the New Girl recap podcast hosted by the cast. I’m currently doing a rewatch, so it felt like the perfect time to start listening to it.

I didn’t finish any audiobooks during March. I did start listening to The Princess Companion by Melanie Cellier, but I’m not even halfway through yet, so I won’t bother mentioning it here. However, I will be reviewing it at some point (whenever I finally finish listening to it) so keep an eye out for that.
